The Institute is designed to be both an intensive learning experience and a spacious time for reflection and exploration. In a typical day the day will flow from our gathered worship. There will usually be two modules of formal teaching by the Institute presenters. In the evening, pastors and leaders from the area will join us to share their stories and case studies of group discernment experiences in their congregations/organizations. The extended afternoon free time can be used for as each participant sees fit. It may be a time of personal reflection, conversations, rest. During this time there will be interest groups and participant presentations available as well as opportunity to meet one-on-one with the various presenters. On Wednesday, the Institute will enjoy a change of pace and scenery by holding our sessions at lovely Tilikum Center for Retreat & Outdoor Ministries.A typical day may flow like this:
We request that participants who are staying off campus and commuting, plan to have both lunch and dinner on campus to facilitate the group experience and conversation. Those participants who are taking the course for graduate credit are required to attend both day and evening sessions. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||
