Good News Associates is pleased to announce that its Leadership Institute for Group Discernment may be taken for seminary-course credit through George Fox Evangelical Seminary (GFES). This opportunity is available to both seminary and non-seminary students.

The seminary's unique identity and distinctives distinguish it as the school of choice for those who are looking for a theological education that feeds the soul as much as the mind. It offers the Certificate in Spiritual Formation and Discipleship, the Master of Arts in Spiritual Formation, the Master of Arts in Ministry Leadership, the Master of Arts in Theological Studies, and the Master of Divinity. Additionally, the seminary offers two Doctor of Ministry options: the DMin in Leadership and Spiritual Formation and the DMin in Leadership in the Emerging Culture.

The Leadership Institute for Group Discernment may be taken for credit as a pastoral studies course or as a spiritual formation and discipleship course (from 1 to 3 semester hours of credit). If one wishes to earn pastoral studies credit, he or she will enroll in this course under the listing, "PSTD 585 Group Spiritual Discernment." If one wishes to earn credit in the area of spiritual formation and discipleship, he or she will enroll under the course listing, "SFAD 585 Group Spiritual Discernment." In either case, the professor of record is Dr. Paul Anderson. For more information about this opportunity, you may contact Dr. Anderson at panderso@georgefox.edu.

In addition to the standard tuition rate of $370.00 per semester hour, non-seminary students are subject to a $40.00 registration fee. For more information, see http://www.georgefox.edu/offices/registrar/specialstudent/.

Regular GFES students may register online through Bruindata or by contacting Ms. Janet Moats at the registrar's office (jmoats@georgefox.edu).
