Since becoming a GOOD NEWS ASSOCIATE, Lon has written four books. Two of these have been collaborative projects in which he has provided empowerment to Christian leaders from developing countries by helping them tell their stories. See details about these books below.
Lon has five years experience as the editor of a national Christian publication, The Evangelical Friend. His articles have been published in Christianity Today, The Oregon Historical Quarterly, Eternity, and The Christian Leader.
He is available to assist with writing projects for organizations and for co-authoring books.

Unlocking Horns: Forgiveness and Reconciliation in Burundi was written with David Niyonzima, a peacemaker and church leader in Burundi. It describes David's victory over hatred for those who killed his students and his relatives.
