 GOOD NEWS Associates was created to help support those who were being called to step into non-institutional ministries. These are the ministries that do not fit on a church payroll or generate missionary support or even fit into the structure of para-church organizations. We, who, are doing these non-institutional ministries have some persistent challenges:
  • Becoming visible so that we can offer our gifts. Self promotion is hard. Not everyone has the knack or the equipment to create websites, make brochures, and get your name out there. And we often need a broader audience than our immediate friends and acquaintances.
  • Having a professional ministry identity. Most of us are not famous. People rightfully want to know "who we are." If we aren't on staff somewhere, who affirms our ministry?
  • Finding a network/community of fellow travelers. We often feel alone. We don't know how to find other folks who are doing similar work. We lack the creative encouragement that rises from the synergies of various ministries fellowshipping together.
Here's how it works.

Affiliate Services is a fee-for-service program for those in ministries consonant with the mission and spirit of GOOD NEWS Associates. It is designed to address these three challenges of non-institutional ministries.

For an annual fee of $120 (twelve consecutive months).

  1. Your ministry can have a web page on the GOOD NEWS website as an Affiliate.
  2. You can identify yourself as an Affiliate of GOOD NEWS Associates.
  3. You can participate in the networking opportunities that will become available with GNA Associates and other Affiliates.
Inasmuch as we will all be sharing our reputation together, there is an application process. GOOD NEWS reserves the right to not accept or renew an application that is not consonant with the mission of the organization.
